Spaghetti al Pomodoro e Basilico

A classic Italian pasta dish with fresh tomatoes, basil, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until golden.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Drain pasta and add to the sauce.
- Toss spaghetti with sauce until well coated.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and basil.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra basil and Parmesan.
