🥕 Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 cups cheese curds
  • 2 cups beef gravy
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 slices peameal bacon

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut potatoes into fries and soak in cold water for 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and pat dry the fries, then toss with melted butter.
  4. Spread fries on a baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes or until crispy.
  5. Cook bacon in a pan until crispy, then set aside.
  6. In the same pan, cook peameal bacon until golden and set aside.
  7. Warm the gravy in a saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Layer fries on a serving platter, sprinkle with cheese curds.
  9. Pour hot gravy over the fries and cheese curds.
  10. Crumble bacon and peameal bacon over the top.
